I Remember Drinks in Chicago Last Year, screenprint on embossed paper, 6″ x 4″, 2016
This work is about the imprecise nature of memory. A memory is opened, but it is obscured and only an impression of the details remain. The round image of the glasses is a screenprint based on the photographic record of a celebratory round of drinks at the top of the Hancock Tower in Chicago. This print received the Opus Prize at BIMPE IX.
